PLICIB promotes the translation of the PREPARED Code

PLICIB – the Lusophone Platform for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation has promoted the translation of the PREPARED Code into Portuguese.

The PREPARED Code is a set of guiding principles and best practices designed to support research teams working in fragile and conflict-affected settings. It provides a common ethical and practical framework to guide researchers and institutions operating in challenging environments. Its main objectives are:

• To promote Safe and Ethical Research
• To facilitate International Collaborations
• To prepare Teams for Real-World Challenges

This document was developed by a team co-led by UCLan Cyprus and supported by European funding. The Portuguese translation was coordinated by Carlos Almeida Pereira (Executive Coordinator of PLICIB).
