+Investigação Funding Call – Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation

Applications are now open for the +Investigação Call.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will support researchers from Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe in the field of health sciences who wish to develop clinical research projects that contribute to improving the quality, effectiveness, and equity of healthcare delivery in these countries.

Applications are open until 16 June.

The aim of this call is to support the implementation of clinical research projects that contribute to improving the quality, effectiveness, and equity of healthcare delivery.

The development of these projects should contribute to:

• Strengthening knowledge on diagnosis or the development of new therapies for diseases affecting the population;
• Generating scientific evidence to improve care and clinical protocols;
• Strengthening the capacities of research and healthcare institutions at the clinical level;
• Fostering national and international partnerships between research institutions, particularly those in the PALOP countries, and promoting the participation of researchers in international networks.
